Why preordering saves you money
Publishers set a final order deadline for every comic before it goes to print. That deadline decides how many copies exist.
Order before that date and we reserve your copy in the print run. Because we know it is already sold, we pass the savings on and charge you 20% under cover.
Order after the deadline and a title can be hard to find at any price. Every product page shows its cutoff and counts down to it, so you always know how long you have.

When am I charged?
At checkout, when you place the order. That is what lets us reserve your copy in the print run and hold the 20% discount for you.
When will my comics arrive?
Comics ship the week the issue releases. Release dates are on every product page. If you order titles that release on different dates, we ship them together once the last one arrives, unless you ask us to split the order.
Can I cancel a preorder?
Yes. Cancel any preorder before its release date and we refund it in full.
What does CGC 9.8 mean?
CGC is the grading company most collectors use. They inspect a comic, assign a grade from 0.1 to 10, and seal it in a protective case. A 9.8 is Near Mint/Mint, close to the best grade a modern comic realistically receives. When you order a graded copy from us it is certified 9.8 before it ships.
How does a subscription work?
Choose the series you follow. Each month we set aside the new issue and ship it at 20% off cover. Skip a month, add titles, or cancel from your account at any time.
What does shipping cost?
US shipping is $4.99 flat and free on orders over $75. We ship to 30 countries outside the US.
