How it works
Three steps, then we handle the next twelve months.
Any of the 47 ongoing series below. Every subscription is the Cover A of each new issue. Already reads Batman? Give them Absolute Batman.
Enter their address as the shipping address at checkout, yours as billing. Add a note and we tuck a handwritten card into the first package.
The first issue ships the week the next one releases. Then one a month until the twelfth. If the series skips a month, the term extends so they still get all twelve.

Make the first package bigger
Anything you add here ships free in the first package with the subscription. In-stock books, no preorder wait.
Giving it for the holidays?
The first issue ships the week the next issue of that series releases, so for most series the first book lands in their mailbox within 2 to 5 weeks of your order. Add a note at checkout and we include a card in that first package. If you want something in their hands on the day, add an in-stock book above and it ships right away.
Questions
Does it renew?
No. You pay once for 12 issues. When the twelfth ships, it is done. If they want to keep going, our monthly pull list picks up the same series at the same 20% off cover.
Which cover do they get?
Cover A of every issue, the main cover. If a Cover A sells out before we can get it, we send another cover of the same issue at no extra charge and tell you first.
What if the series skips a month or ends?
If a month has no issue, the subscription extends a month so they still get twelve. If the series ends before twelve issues, we email you to pick a replacement series for the rest of the term.
Can they change the series partway through?
Yes. Email us the order number and the new series and we switch it from the next issue on.
How is it packed?
Each issue is bagged and boarded and shipped in a rigid cardboard mailer by USPS Ground Advantage with tracking. US shipping on every mailing is included in the price. Canada and international shipping is added at checkout.
Will the recipient see the price?
Order confirmations and receipts go to your email, not theirs. Say so in the checkout note and we leave the packing slip out of the package.
