Every graded presale on this page is guaranteed CGC 9.8. Here is exactly how the program works, in plain English.
What you are buying
These are brand new comics, reserved before release day and submitted to CGC for professional grading. You lock in your copy now. We handle everything else: careful handling from day one, professional prep, grading, and a fully insured trip to your door.
The grade guarantee
You will receive a CGC graded 9.8 slab matching the listed title, cover, and label. That is the whole promise, with no fine print. If your book does not achieve a 9.8, we refund the graded portion of your order in full. You never pay slab money for anything less than a 9.8.
Delivery timeline
Graded books ship in approximately 12 weeks after the release date, and sometimes up to 14. Professional grading is worth the wait, and turnaround times at CGC are estimates, not guarantees. If anything changes on timing, we will keep you posted by email at every step.
Bundles ship twice, and that is the fun part
Order the Raw + CGC 9.8 Bundle and you get two packages. Your raw copy arrives release week, bagged and boarded Near Mint, so you can actually read the book while everyone else waits. Your slab lands about three months later, ready for the shelf. Two unboxing days for one book. We think that beats one.
The label
Every slab ships with the classic CGC blue label, the standard that collectors know and trust. Official CGC custom labels are coming to select books soon. When they land, you will see the option right on the product page.
Product images
Slab images on graded presale listings are digital renderings, not photographs of your finished book. The cert number shown is a sample. Your actual slab will carry its own unique CGC certification number, verifiable at CGC directly. Cover art on presale listings is the publisher's solicitation art and is not final. Printed covers include logos and trade dress unless the cover is listed as a virgin variant.
All sales final
Graded presale orders are all sales final once the order window closes, because your book goes into the grading pipeline with your name on it. Raw copies follow our standard store policies. If we cannot fulfill your order for any reason, you receive a full refund immediately.
